My husband and I visited last Sunday for an early dinner and had a delightful meal. The food was faultless and the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Cheesecake are to die for! The service was spot on and we could not recommend The Shandon Belles highly enough.

Fab restaurant loved the decor and great touches with the old side plates and nothing like a cuppa out of China cup. The best value for money, 3 courses of great food and half bottle of wine for 20 quid.. staff very friendly with relaxed atmosphere, will be going again and again..

This was my first trip to any of the Two Fat Ladies restaurants in Glasgow (they now have four) and I was very impressed, as was my girlfriend.

Walking down the stairs to the Shandon Belles we weren't completed sure what we were going to find, but opening the wee door at the bottom and being greeted by a small (about 40/50 seats), delicately lit and cosy restaurant and greeted by the very helpful, chatty and friendly Matre'd.

All the courses were lovely, although there weren't too many choices, which is limited further if you're not a big fish fan. I'd definitely come again, and at £15.99 for three courses, a glass of wine and a dram of whisky (a special 5pm deal) it certainly didn't break the bank either.

Although the restaurant isn't in the best area of Glasgow, nor is it that easy to find, it does have its own car park which is handy.

Having frequented the buttery upstairs on a number of occasions we though we should trip the Shandon Belles. As with it's sister restaurant we were not disappoints. A bargain to be had at £20pp for a 3 course meal that included a half bottle of wine each.

The staff are professional yet friendly and the place is immaculate. The food was excellent quality, well presented and tasted fantastic. Having had 3 courses each, a bottle of wine and coffee's it was amazing to think that we got change out of £50.
