Stayed for birthday celebration, spa, diner bed and breakfast. It was absolutely wonderful. Staff are great and welcoming, dpa is brilliant and very relaxing, dinner in the restaurant was beautiful. We had a gorgeous room and had breakfast in bed. Would highly recommend -pure luxury..

I stayed here for one night on my girlfriend's 30th and got a room, meal and a spa deal.

The hotel was absolutely brilliant, one of the best places I have ever stayed. The service was impecable and the deal we got was unbelievable. They knew it was my girlfriends birthday and they pulled out all the stops for her.

The room was obviously spotless and stunning. It was huge with a lovely open plan bathroom where you could sit in the bath and still watch a film on the tv in the main room. The bed was heavenly and it was so peaceful in there. The spa was great too but I wouldn't want to pay the full price for it. The meal that we had in the restaurant was delicious and well worht it. This can also be said for the breakfast the next morning, it was huge! We got the full Scottish but could also choose from a continental breakfast too so the value was outstanding.

It is 5 mins walk from the centre of Glasgow so it's great for a night out and there are plenty of bars near it. The bars in the hotel are great too but obviously expect to pay a wee bit more in there.

This hotel was everything that a 5 Star should be and you certainly won't be disappointed if you spend a night or two here.

I spent an afternoon there recently for a very special birthday party and it was sheer luxury all the way, from the attention on arrival by the delightful staff, to the delicious 5 star meal in our private (enormous) room.
Opulent would be an understatement!!
We were treated like royalty from start to finish and it was a rather large group of people to look after, but it was done with ease and very obvious experience (in such an understated way). The afternoon flowed effortlessly from start to finish and I would recommend The Blythswood hotel to anyone wishing to experience a little taste of luxury that makes you feel very special indeed.

Stayed one night, fantastic room. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.

To use the spa I had to pay £20 which was disappointing since I was staying at the hotel.

Breakfast was a buffet continental and you could order a hot breakfast from the menu. I had the full Scottish and it was first class. The tea on the other hand was very weak.

This is without a doubt, one of the best hotels I've stayed in. We have stayed there numerous times before, most recently being this weekend and had a fantastic time. Right from the moment you step into the hotel, service is first class. We were staying there for a birthday break (which was acknowledged by the receptionist). The rooms are luxurious, emacuately clean, spacious and incredibley welcoming. Each morning, the breakfast arrived exactly at the time we stated. Both cooked and continental were prepared exceptionally well and tasted fantastic. All staff were extremely polite and most definitely made you feel as if you were part of a five star hotel. The concierge was always on hand to recommend good restaurants or organise taxis.

We will definitely be returning and already anticipate our next visit to The Blythswood.

My wife and I escaped here for one night whilst visiting relatives in Glasgow and if I can a get similar priced last minute deal (just over £100) we will do so on future visits. The bedroom was furnished to the highest standard comparable to any luxury hotel that I have been lucky to stay in while mostly on business trips. The bar downstairs we felt a bit 'yuppified' with prices to match but the lounge upstairs was housed in a magnificent room with high-vaulted ceilings and marble pillars. Essentially, the Blythswood is a very tasteful conversion of the old RAC Club and contains many of it's original features. We look forward to trying the Spa on our next visit.

I stayed here for one night in March with my boyfriend. The hotel is fabulous, really beautiful. The service wasn't the best. Reception staff were friendly and polite, however it would of been beneficial to have been told a little more info, for example the spa facilities. The spa was fantastic, very impressive, however again the spa receptionists could have explained a little about the different rooms ect. Breakfast was excellent! The service for breakfast was fantastic and the food was lovely, lots of choice. The bathroom was fabulous, the bed very comfy! The room was not great value for money, overall it is a fantastic hotel. Would recommend this hotel for a lovely one off treat!
