My stay of one night at this hotel was second to none. Staff were really helpful and outgoing, not always the reception you get at high star establishments due to snobby guests the majourity of the time. I stayed in room 323 (standard double) and it was equiped and sized like a suite in a simular size of hotel. Bar is brilliant and spa facilities are excellent too.

Looking for an average, run of the mill hotel, at bargain basement prices? Then I`m afraid Blythswood Square is not for you! If however, you appreciate the good things in life and are prepared to pay for them, then this hotel fits the bill!

From the moment you walk in the door you cannot fail to be impressed by the quality of the public areas, bedrooms and furnishings.Food in the main restaurant is excellent, even on the market menu. The cocktail bar is a must, with a massive selection to suit all tastes. The spa ranks amongst the best my wife and I have ever experienced, with advance booking essential, especially at weekends.
The final accolade must go to the staff, all of whom go the extra mile to ensure that guests needs are attended to in a friendly yet professional manner.
This was our first visit. it most certainly will not be our last!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in October and really enjoyed our stay. Our room and bathroom was beautiful and extremely clean and the bed was sooo cosy and comfortable. The hotel is situated on a quiet street just a short walk from the city centre. The staff really make this hotel, they are so professional, attentive and friendly. Everytime we passed the front desk or any member of staff we recieved a genuinely warm greeting - which is not the norm in most hotels these days. On our second night we were woken by roudy guests in the next room, but very promptly we could hear someone speaking with them and they quietened down, thankfully! My husband and I both had massages in the spa and really enjoyed our treatments, so relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Glasgow.

very nice hotel in glasgow city center, very well appointed rooms and well trained staff but a few quibbles. spa only open at designated times surely all paying guests staying at the hotel should be admitted at anytime, drinks and cocktails are a little overpriced, breakfast was very good and very well served but why bring the toast 10 min before your breakfast. other than that the hotel is recommended. angus.

Finally a hotel worth its 5 star rating. I got married in this hotel on 5th October and the experience was superb, from the doorman to the concierge to the reception staff, each and everyone of them were polite friendly and put the customer first, and always with a smile. we stayed in a deluxe room and th bed has to be the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was amazing and big enough for two with wonderful views of the gardens.we were a group of 24 and every guest said the same, a fabulous hotel and very clean. The breakfast was first class, everything from muesli to smoked salmon to the full scottish, they evn had the ingredients to make yourself a bloody mary at the buffet table, a much needed hair of the dog for sme I am sure, because the bar staff make the most delicious cocktails! On the Saturday night we had a family meal in the restaurant and ate from the market menu, a 3 course meal of fine dining all for £22 per person, definately not the price you would expect to pay in a 5 star hotel. Overall a great place to stay for a special occasion or a night away from it all, wonderful!

This was a special treat for my Girlfriends birthday and I have to say at first I was slightly apprehensive as I was unsure if this was the right decision but after much research I am so glad I picked Blythswood Square. This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best hotels in Glasgow. It almost feels like a bit of a well kept secret even though it isn't. It just makes you feel special as any 5 Star hotel should (but some don't). This one has that special magic in spades.

On arrival you are treated with the ultimate in respect and are given a very friendly and warm welcome, almost as if you are an old friend returning. The staff were extremely helpful when we enquired about anything and were completely faultless. After a swift check - in we were shown to our room on the top floor which was beautiful. The room was a 'Standard double' but this was anything but standard, the King size bed was extremely comfortable and gave for one of the best and most relaxing nights sleep we have had in ages. The bathroom exceeded anything I have read or seen previous to arrival, The rain fall shower was brilliant as was the deep bath. The room was decorated to very high standard and was extremely comfortable.

We never stayed at the hotel for diner but from the looks of it the Dining/bar areas they were beautiful and if we had been staying longer would have been worth paying a visit. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, we had it delivered to the room, it is also worth mentioning that spending £35 for late check out is definitely worth doing as this hotel is somewhere you just do not want to leave.

The last thing I would say is that during our entire stay whilst inside the hotel you do not for one second believe you are in Glasgow City Centre. The entire place is extremely quiet and it almost throws you when you step outside and BANG it's the city.

This is beautiful hotel and is well worth every single penny. It almost feels like a steel, would highly recommend to anyone and we cannot wait to return.
