Lovely little restaurant which was full when we visited on a Tuesday evening which ensured a good atmosphere but didn't get overbearing on the noise levels. Staff were friendly. Really enjoyed most of the food especially the prawn/chorizo starter. Sorry had to go down a star as the sticky pudding was a bit too stodgy and the sugar in the tablet hadn't been dissolved. Wouldn't stop us returning though.

Nothing flash - just top quality food at very reasonable prices. Good fish dishes. Exceptionally high quality of desserts - although not pretentious. Sticky toffee, cheesecakes, brulees, chocolate numbers etc. Much higher quality than average. Discreet service. All very nicely done.

I have eaten at this restaurant a dozen or more times. The food is always fantastic. Perfectly prepared and presented. Nothing over the top or pretentious. Just really good food. The pre-theatre menu has lots of choices and is a bargain. It is a small restaurant so reservations are always a good idea. Good wine list also with reasonable prices. It is located right in the city centre and is an easy walk from the Charring Cross train station.

We were at Tow Fat Ladies City Centre Glasgow recently and whilst the service, food and drink was very good I think it could be very noisey and congested on a busy day. The main disappointment was the gents toilets which are accessed by a few steps which also lead you to the kitchen - not good, although there's probably not a lot can be done in what is quite a small unit in the city.

I visited here with a colleague and we both enjoy fish so had high expectations.

I started with the sea bass with tomato and feta which was to die for, and my colleague who had the scallops and said the black pudding was very light and delicious.

She then had a trio of fish and I had the pollock, both again excellent.

We managed to squeeze in a couple of desserts - my choice being the stick ginger pud and my colleague had the trio of creme brulees.

Every course was just fantastic, and restaurant had nice atmosphere with polite staff.

Would definitely recommend.
