Took my parents for their first visit and was not disappointed. Service was great from start to finish. Plenty of choice on the menu and all the selections were excellent, especially the chicken with chilli jam. Petit fours with coffee was a nice touch. We had a great night and it was also very reasonably priced.

I was lucky enough to be asked to a friends graduation dinner at Two Fat Ladies last week and have to say that the night was fantastic. When we walked in we were instantly greeted by the friendly staff who took our coats and showed us to our seats. The staff took our drinks order and we were soon presented with a selection of incredibly tasty breads ( so good that we asked for more which wasn't a problem!).

To start, I had scallops on spicy lentils, which were delicious and perfectly cooked! They had my mouth watering for my next course! For my main course I had the seabass with couscous. Again, the seabass was expertly cooked and the mint yoghurt went perfectly with it. The table was also provided a nice selection of fresh vegetables.

Feeling pretty full after the main course, I regrettably skipped desert. A couple of people at the table managed deserts and they were beautifully presented.

Everything about the meal was absolutely wonderful, even down to the coffee and tasty tablet!

This place is definitely one of the best I have been to, and I will be back soon!

A Glasgow icon where the standard of food, ambiance and service remains very high and seldom disappoints. Just one point jarred with our party last Saturday night. We are aware that "smart casual" is a modern way of dressing, even when dining in a smart restaurant. What a pity some choose to interpret that VERY loosely! One customer in particular was unkempt, unshaven and dressed like a vagrant and would have been turned away from other quality restaurants. Not this restaurant and, yes, it does detract when others make the effort to respect an expensive and high end establishment. Takes away from that "special event" night out, at least for us!

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at this wonderful, cosy restaurant in Glasgow, close to the Hilton & Marriott hotels. The service, ambience & culinary delights, especially the fish dishes, were outstanding. This restaurant is tops for us on all fronts. It offers courteous, caring & friendly service in a professional manner. It has an excellent wine list that caters for most tastes and price ranges. The house champagne is outstandingly good too. A huge thanks to Ian, Maddie & Richard from the waiting staff & management team for their kind assistance & for making us feel most welcome at this gem of a restaurant. This is our favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Simply special & excellent.

Faultless service, amazing food and could not be more helpful about gluten free diet - even adapting the menu to suit. Staff were really attentive without being overly fussing. Had a fantastic evening and would highly recommend.
