We were invited to help spend a friends gift voucher
We chose the set menu of steak and frites which was superb we did not have a starter or dessert but we were delighted to be served with a delicious amouse bouche despite being cheapskates!

The staff were super polite and efficient as always and our wait person julie was excellent and knew her job inside out.

We used to go here a lot but so many other places have opened and you always want to try them out
We were very dissapointed with the appearance of the dining room.clean enough but omg the carpet is not only a disgrace
but its a severehealth hazard!
Not only does the sisal look filthy and worn , but to cover the worn and joined parts there are rugs just waiting to be tripped over.
Maybe when that happens and the owners are sued then they might do something about replacing the flooring.

The fabric seat covers are also all worn and shiny its not a good look for such a good restaurant.
I think they are resting on their laurels from years ago
Go on spend a couple of grand and update the place!
Great food shame about the decor!

First visit to this restaurant, it was mid week and very quiet.
The entrance to the restaurant is somewhat dated and needs a new carpet.
It is rather dull inside.
Service was fine but we were given the wrong menu and I had chosen so was a bit disappointed when I had to start again.
Waiter was very polite.
I had steak frites and it was excellent especially the frites very tasty.
Just a pity there wasn't much of an atmosphere .

Went back to La Vallee Blanche on Saturday for a birthday lunch. We hadn't been for over a year, but it was better then ever. I had pickled herring, followed by Steak Frites and chocolate tart. Others had a goats cheese tart to start, and a lovely salmon dish for the main. The lemon tart was to die for. The three courses for £15 lunch is excellent value. My only criticism is that the prices for drinks are unfairly high. £4.95 for a small bottle of Leffe beer is a rip off, even in a restaurant. The coffee is good, and when we were served some small petit fours, I thought that was a nice touch. That was until the bill revealed that the coffee was almost £4 a cup with petit fours, and there was no option to have coffee without them. If they would just adjust their drink and coffee prices to a more realistic level, it would be perfect .

A delightful French Eatery situated in the West End of Glasgow. The French Cuisine was excellent. I was with friends and we all agreed it was delish. I had herring for a starter and it was very tasty followed by Sea Bream. The atmosphere is cosy and we enjoyed it so much we booked again for beginning May.
