If judged on food alone, Shezan would be good. But combined with cocky service, it becomes average verging on poor. We visitied late on a Wednesday night and were the only customers. Despite this, courses still took quite a considerable time to arrive though the food was of decent standard. Asked for a top-up of drinks between courses, but the waiter instead decided to speak to some bloke sitting in the corner playing YouTube videos very loudly on a laptop for 10 minutes and ignored our request.Bit bizarre. He then kept imploring us to say the food was good and then asking why I'd left some. I hate when staff start commenting like this; I want left alone in a restuarant not hassled. Not bad prices though - we paid £45 for two.

Had a lunch in here on a Friday afternoon. Other diners were an older couple, two workmen and the window cleaner. I suppose this indicates a 'cafe' feel, rather than a restaurant.

Menus were laminated, with a black ink marker scoring out some menu selections. One side is lunch, other is pre theatre. Limited on both sides, but offer chicken, lamb or prawns.

Chipped plates etc were off-putting, but others may think this would add to the 'charm'. The food was the best thing about it, I suppose that's the important thing. I had pakora to start, partner had baji. These are the only options. Dips came in a three section dish, all sections with the same dip! Lamb boona and lamb karahi followed, which I have to admit were pretty good and quite authentic tasting. Oh, no naan bread either, despite being part of the deal (Indian with no naan? Unacceptable). We got two chapatis instead.

Fixed bill for £5 pp at lunch, and £7.50 pp for pre theater.

I wouldn't say don't eat here, cos it wasn't terrible, but at the same time, I wouldn't be urging you to get there soon. Probably best for a takeaway. Would I go again? Yes, but not next week and not before trying other places.

Early evening gme at Hampden on a cold Tuesday September night. Got through early and tried a couple of restaurants lose to the ground and Shenaz could seat 5 of us. It meant being jammed into a tight table for 4 in what is a small restaurant anyway. Fixed and restricted menu with normal standard curries and European dishes. They had run out of all beers except that classic Indian beer MGD. Despite being a fixed menu the service was pretty slow from ordering, serving the meal and being chased for the rice. Food was no better or worse than any other average Indian that adds a bit of food dye to make everything vibrant red. At least rice did not have coloured bits in it. For a quick pre footie fill up it is fine but not somewhere I would add to my list of classic Glasgow curry houses.
