Spent many hours in Tapa loved the coffee and the food is both fresh and health conscious in its nature.
Can be v busy but worth the wait.
Will come back time after time.

A gem of a café. Lovely fresh ground coffee, a great selection of cakes and fantastic organic breakfast food that isn't overpriced. The staff are very pleasant and happy to help.

Tapa has been a semi-regular haunt for me since it opened, typically for a weekend lunch. The quality of food has always been good but recently they have noticeably stepped it up - today being a prime example. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the vegan-ness of each item and offered to mix up / combine things to our needs if required. I had superb burrito with accompanying Thai broccoli soup - both items worthy of 5 stars. The coffee, as always, was top notch and I'd recommend the spicy ginger beer as well. Some of the reviews on here have complained about the slow service but this was not an issue, despite being pretty busy. Definitely worth a revisit if you've been disappointed in the past.

Called in for a late light breakfast. Reasonably busy but with a choice of seating available at 1130 on a Wednesday.

Staff were polite, order was taken efficiently and delivered in a very acceptable time period. A well filled bacon roll was accompanied by a choice of sauces for my daughter. Poached eggs on very nice fresh brown bread for me. The eggs tasted very good indeed and there was a pleasing hint of vinegar. Only disappointment was the egg yolks being almost completely solid.

Coffee was acceptable - taste was fine, not too hot and drinkable immediately rather than having to wait 20 minutes for it to cool down as so often happens elsewhere.

Overall, an enjoyable snack and drink, not one of the best perhaps but certainly well worthy of a follow up visit.
