“Fantastic wedding reception venue”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

We attended a wedding reception which was followed by a Celidh. Excellent food and wine, a good band and a perfect location.

“brilliant”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Oran mor is a gem at the top of Byres rd. A converted church now used as a pub. Wonderful decor, brilliant atmosphere, food well priced and tasty. I recommend their play, pint and pie. Its well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed

“Christmas Dinner”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Went to the Oran Mor for our Christmas day out. Arrived around 15.00, the upstairs bar was very busy as the Pie, Pint & Panto was on which I have been at before and is very good. Got served very quickly as the staff are very attentive. Had dinner in the Brasserie - the service was excellent and the orders were taken and our starter was with us in no time. Nothing seemed to be a problem for any of the staff the only issue if you need the toilet you need to get in a lift to the 5th floor and then go back. The food was nice (typical Christmas dinner) and we had all 3 courses with drinks for the 12 of us within 2 hours. The atmosphere was good and I will return to the Oran Mor again.

“Different every time”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

I was in Glasgow for a week for work and I must confess that I ended up at this place 4 of the 7 nights. The food is really nice and the ambience is just great! I felt it was different every night with people playing music, games or just laughing around. I think the club is small though.
