Description: Tucked away within the bustling Silverburn shopping centre, this Glasgow branch of Spanish restaurant chain La Tasca is a popular spot for casual dining with friends and family. Tapas and paella dishes fill the extensive menu, accompanied by a drinks list of Iberian wines, beers and pitchers of sangria that should refresh even the weariest shopper.

Went here for lunch last Saturday with family and was most disappointed! Waited nearly and hour and a half for food only to be told there was a problem with the lift and that our food had to be re-ordered. When food finally arrived it was nothing special. Have visited this place a few times but this will be my last. It looked dirty, toilets were disgusting, very overpriced for bland food.

First time trying Spanish tapas so wasn't sure what to expect. Went for the chefs recommendation, a selection of 7 different tapas to share.
The food was ok, nothing special, if anything the food was a bit bland, needed a bit of salt.
Not one for a revisit I'm afraid.

Popped into La Tasca on a Thurs night - great deal on offer (Starter plus 3 tapas per person for less than £10 each).

As it has been over a year since my last visit, I was pleased that the menu and food presentation had been re-vamped. Everything was very tasty and the service was really good.

Def look out for deals and give it a bash!

Have not really rated La Tasca from an earlier visit a couple of years ago. Very bog standard commercial chain of restaurants but not now. I was so impressed I went back the next day.
Met a friend on Thurs for a lunch deal. Choose bread with dipping oil & vinegar or salad & choose two tapas each for £6.95 each. The food was so fresh & tasty. The bread & dipping oil was beautiful & the balsamic with the oil had been reduced down therefore was lovely & sweet. Plenty of bread. My friend had the salad & said it was nice. I had king prawns in beer batter with paprika mayo which were divine, so fresh & not over cooked. The batter was very light & not stoggy. The mayo was nice but not a strong flavour from it. I also had Paella which was lovely with chicken & chorizo & again lovely. My friend had patatas bravas & Paella with chicken & Prwan & said both were lovely & commented on the size of the patatas bravas portion size being big. Throughly enjoyed the meal & went back the following evening. Will review separately. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere at lunchtime & we had a lovely table.

Stopped off for an early dinner and found the place quiet at 5pm. We were served very quickly and all the food arrived in good time and piping hot, apart from the Chicken in sherry sauce which could have been hotter.

Everything was very tasty and couldn't fault the service.
