Description: Tucked away within the bustling Silverburn shopping centre, this Glasgow branch of Spanish restaurant chain La Tasca is a popular spot for casual dining with friends and family. Tapas and paella dishes fill the extensive menu, accompanied by a drinks list of Iberian wines, beers and pitchers of sangria that should refresh even the weariest shopper.

Went to La Tasca at Silverburn with friends. The white fish in batter is superb. Staff great, good atmosphere, not too noisy. Chicken in sherry sauce - could do with being a bit less 'wet' but overall excellent - and good value house wine, too

Thoroughly enjoyed my Tapas meal in La Tasca.
The food is of the highest standard, and the service matched too.
The spicy prawns, and the beef were particularly good.
Will definitely go back.

I love taps but this restaurant was a bitter disappointment. Everything tasted like it had been previously frozen and then microwaved to reheat. Despite this, every dish that arrived was barely tepid. The portions were also very small (even for tapas!). One dish, which was to share between 2, contained only 2 tiny pieces of chicken swimming in a bowl of sauce. The meatballs were dry and a strange grey colour... Not very appealing.

Shame of La Tasca for claiming that this is authentic Spanish cuisine. Once you have eaten the real thing - freshly cooked food using fresh ingredients - you wouldn't want to eat in La Tasca again.

I have to disagree with all the other reviews on this restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly and I think it is very reasonable. Having been to Spain every year I had never really ventured to Spanish restaurants to taste typical Spanish food. This has given me a real insight and confidence to try many varied dishes and have not found any I dislike in La Tasca.
I have seen many families in with child friendly food options on offer and only last week we watched the chef make the most enormous paella in the middle of the restaurant.
We have now made a point of going twice a week which I cannot say I have done with any other restaurant.
