This restaurant has had it's ups and downs over the years, the good news is that at the moment it is on an up. 3 of us had an excellent 3 course meal with a a total of 4 soft drinks and a glass of wine for under £55.
We did spurn the set menu, but to be frank this would have worked out about the same. The starters were excellent, a special mention going to the Italian sausage. We all chose pasta dishes which were well cooked with excellent sauces. The desserts were also good with delicious ice cream. The service was fast, polite and seemed caring. If I had one criticism the chef was perhaps a smidge heavy handed with the salt for today's tastes,
