“Good pub”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

A traditional style pub with a decent variety of drinks. The service was fine and the seating area was comfortable. We found the prices to be a little steep for what we were getting however.

Worth a visit.

Been there with my family once, I would never go again. Food was not only expensive, but also we had to wait really long time. Staff was chatting instead of serving the customer.

“Well priced pub food”
Reviewed December 24, 2013

As the rain poured dwon this pub was a haven for us to enjoy a nice lunch.
Situated just a short stroll from the main shops on Buchanan and Sauchiehall streets this pub is a must for a relaxing interlude.
The pub is traditional pub fayre and well-priced.
We shared a Fish Finger Sandwich(£5.95) which was larger battered pieces of Haddock perfectly cooked with good chips and a portion of Nachos with Pulled Pork(£7.95) which were very tasty.
They were well accompanied by excellent real ales from all over Scotland and one from Bristol which was a ruby ale.
The pub is pleasantly decorated and the staff are very friendly.

“Good selection of food and drinks- great service- recommended”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Dined here with colleagues, great pub/restaurant with a good selection of drinks and real ales all competitively priced,. There is a good atmosphere and the service is excellent. The menu is varied to suit all tastes and the food is better than your basic pub grub. All in all well recommended if your out in Glasgow.

“Excellent pub off the main track”
Reviewed November 15, 2013 via mobile

Stumbled across a pub that I have not been in for years, we had dinner here one Friday evening this month and it was excellent, it's not a restaurant but the back area certainly has a restaurant feel and If you want you can still sit in the bar area and eat, had basket of fish which was excellent, friend had think it was a boar or pork burger which he loved, especially the bun and chips! Lots of cask ales as well which was nice! Great little spot for tourists potentially
