First and probably last visit as we were with friends who live locally. To be fair our friends are totally sold on the restaurant. We went on Valentine's night and were greeted by friendly face of manager and staff. Glass of bubbly and a rose for the ladies very welcome. Immediate impressions very good. Location is an old bank I believe and has been tastefully converted. Waitress had to visit the bar a few times to see if they sold certain drinks but in the main she was very attentive and helpful. They had a special menu with options at each course. My smoked salmon on top of salmon pâté and bruschetta was great. The pasta starter also looked good. Main courses were fine but nothing exceptional. That said the set price of £49.95 for a couple was very good especially as they came round twice with strawberries dipped in chocolate. The one outstanding feature of the night was the singer whose rendition of the Skyfall song was superb. Worth a visit especially to try the Italian food I think.
