Visited recently with a large group of friends, we booked in advance and told them how many of us there where. The seating seemed a little tight but when the food came it was clear there was not enough room on the table. We were quick to move the extra dishes they gave us and the staff were helpful but clearly didn't think through the practicalities of larger groups. The menu itself was extensive, perhaps too much so. The food was nice enough but seemed expensive for what it was, would go again but perhaps with someone who was more familiar with the menu to make choosing easier.

As far as restaurants go I've never felt too impressed by Maisha. Sure it's well priced but the food itself is average when compared to others. Been a few times before, not sure if I'll go again.

Went here for my son's birthday with a Taste of Fife voucher. Had popadom, starters, mains and rice & naan bread each. Great food yet again. Busy but it was a Friday night, glad I booked. The only issue with the service was waiting a long time for the bill but attentive staff otherwise. Voucher made it great value but quite expensive if didn't have voucher.

A very hectic night (bank holiday w/e) place was mobbed but the food was very good. 3 people chose very different meals - everyone was happy with their choice.

This is supposed to be an authentic Indian fish restaurant - loads of choice on menu, but we thought we would go for the fish dishes as you would expect them to be their specialities. The sauce was near tasteless and although my fish was edible, it certainly hadn't been marinated as indicated on the menu. My partners food was even worse - just a pile of bones ( which he almost choked on) covered in the same tasteless sauce. When we complained (twice) we were told that "yes, it is a bony fish" . We pointed out that there was no fish, just bones and got a shrug of the shoulders. It is also ridiculously overpriced - £42 down and I still need to cook dinner.
