“Great Beach....”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

Unusual shells...usually a crab or two. Don't forget to visit the SeaShell cafe for a cafe latte..

“what a beach!”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

we love this beach, even in the winter it can be amazing. Our kids age 6 love it, so does our dog and it is just amazing for a family day out - if you get the sun - wow - fantastic!

“A windswept beach.”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

West Sands has its claim to fame as the location for the beginning of the film "Chariots of Fire". They are working hard to conserve the sand dunes there. Beyond that it is a very large beach and is used by people using "para buggies" There used to be one hot and cold food "take away", but last time I was there the whole place was under redevelopment. (Last Autumn) It will be interesting to see the result of the present work.
