this is a place to visit if you can, a very quite and peaceful place to wander through a walled garden and lots of woodlands with horses and pigs roaming around, its only a short walk to the shore so another place to explore, we spent hours wandering around and still did not see all that it had to offer another visit is in the pipeline

We spent a pleasant afternoon wandering around the walled garden and woodland walk. We then had a nice cup of tea and scone and had a look round the well stocked shop. Very enjoyable.

Spent 4 hours there but could have spent longer. Arrived at 12.15 and other than to stop for a coffee we wandered around and just enjoyed the peace and beauty of the forest and walled garden which is stunning. A plant lovers paradise. Our visit was on a Thursday but I understand there is a guided tour on Tuesdays.

Lovely walk through woods and walled gardens. Cafe very reasonable and good cakes. Gift shop with snow drop theme - usually I whizz through a gift shop in a couple of minutes and rarely buy anything but lots of lovely things eg Sheila Fleet jewelry and a beautiful patchwork quilt (not for sale) lots of nice mugs and glassware. Would definitely come back - possibly to stay in one of their apartments or glamp in a snowdrop shaped tent.
