“Gorgeous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013

A must-see if visiting this area of Fife. These gardens are beautiful and relaxing, and they are lovely at any time of year. We have stayed in self-catering accommodation in central St Andrews, owned and run by the Cambo Estate, and can recommend that wholeheartedly too.

“Divine experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2012

Visited the Cambo House with class mates from the university as a quasi-academic component of my post-graduate studies. Found the house and surrounding grounds very beautiful and relaxing. The staff were extremely hospitable and the lunch of shepherd's pie was truely sumptuous.

“Amazing gem of a walled garden and much more besides...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2012

All four of us and a dog were all totally enchanted by this gem of a garden and its surrounds. The tea room was nicely apportioned with an assortment of fresh flowers on each table. We had lovely warming homemade soup and filled rolls. The gift shop was achingly beautiful and gorgeously done out. The snowdrop tapestry a must see! The gardens are truly magnificent especially the walled garden section although we found all parts to be of marvellous interest. All the staff are extremely polite, friendly and ready to assist and answer questions as they busy themselves amongst the plants. Good place to buy plants from if you have a car to get them home in. Would recommend without reserve this place to visit over and over again throughout the year and years!
