I have eaten at The Adamson several times each year since it opened and it has always excelled at providing great dishes that never cease to surprise!! Last Thursday evening , with a Belgian friend from Antwerp that has some of the best eateries in Europe, we had an amazing 3 course meal. Most in our party of 4 had the blade of beef for their main and the apple trifle for dessert both which we all raved about. I have never had a beef dish so good and the trifle was full of delicious surprises!! Our starters, all different we all commented on how good they were.The staff are all knowledgeable concerning the wines & spirits in addition to the dining menu that changes seasonally. Scott , the talented Head Chef in the kitchen , was immersed in his cooking but my Belgian friend was quite excited to see that he actually cooks as well as devising the menu!!! Via satellite TV it seems he is also well known for Masterchef in Belgium!!
The Adamson is where I look forward to when considering where to eat in St Andrews.
