Stayed with 3 golf buddies at fairways only 50 yards from The Old Course.played the Old at 630am fist tee time after eating an excellent breakfast prepared by the owner Hugh. His golf experience and advice on where to get a good beer were spot on.We found the accommodations of a high quality the top floor balcony was superb. We will definitely return on our next visit to the Home of golf.

Room Tip: All 3 rooms are excellent however the top floor room is the largest and has a balcony

We do not think you could get a better place to stay if you like golf or just like St Andrews and the surroundings. We had 4 spendid days with 100% support, nice breakfast and very nice and clean rooms.
Jane and Hugh try their almost to serve you in the best way - with succes!
We can really recommend this place.

Room Tip: If you can - please choose the room to the backyard - a lot of happy Scotsmen like to sing during the night and it can be difficult to sleep if you have the room towards the street. A smaller problem - but now you know :-)

If you are going to play the Old Course then you will also want to tell the story of how you done it in style by also staying within 50 yards of the first tee from the home of golf. Modern, comfortable and without doubt the best location possible for golfers visiting St Andrews old town. The owner even got up at 5.30 to ensure we had a full breakfast before teeing off, we will Be back its the only show in town, yes the Old Town :)

Room Tip: Only 3 rooms in this lovely accomodation, ask for room 3 at the top which has a balcony overlooking parts of the Old Course.

I travelled with three friends on a golfing trip and we spent three nights here just after Easter. We shared twin rooms. The location is fantastic as it is close to everything and just a lob wedge to the Old Course. The accommodation itself is really comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great with a nice selection of food. Hugh and Jane, the owners, were very helpful and gave us good advice on where to eat. I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.

A warm welcome on arrival from Hugh (owner) who showed us to our huge, well decorated room. Great location for both golfers and sight-seers. Hugh was very helpful with tips on places to visit and dine, and all round a lovely chap.
Ate at the restaurant, Forgans on Market street, as recommended and was not disappointed.
A stones throw the beach and golf course, or a 5-10 minute walk to the castle and cathedral.

Room Tip: Superior Room . Road facing- bit noisy by day but very quiet in the evening. Huge room and lovely bathroom/wetroom.
