I love castles and this one of my favorites. Going into the mine and countermine is like walking through "living" history. True the castle is in ruins, but there is still much to see in a fairly small space. The bottle dugeon is interesting. The display in the visitor centre is neat to look at (and of interest to children). It can be a rough walk around if the weather is even a little bad, the wind comes through the castle very strongly (it blew my hat off), but well worth a look even in bad weather.
