We with friends ordered a takeaway last Friday night. Delivery was very prompt at the given time and arrived piping hot. Food was delicious with generous portions all round. We all ordered different things and everyone enjoyed it. I had a lamb dish dish I have had a couple of times before and it lived up to its expectations yet again. The nann bread is very tasty as were the poppadoms.. Will Definitely order again.

“always great”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

New year's eve. Hungry, wet ( St Andrews in winter) and looking for a nice lunch. Where else but jahangir? Never lets us down.

The lunch is simply exceptional value, the freshest of ingredients and a Lamb Madras that hit the heights. Cobra on draught to cool me down...perfect.

we'll keep coming back.

“Great value for money ”
Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

My family and I had the £5.95 lunch. Which was amazing value. I was a little hesitant as didn't think the food would be that good but I was pleasantly surprised. Poppadoms were served almost as we sat. All our starters were very good. The Bhuna was superb.

Would've been happy to have paid twice the amount put with for starter, main and a beer to be less than a tenner is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

“Simply fabulous”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

Fantastic food served by attentive staff at a fair price.
The waiter went the extra mile to let me try something I was unsure of - king prawn pakora(gorgeous)
Can't find fault - have been many times in the past - always great.

“amazing food as always, never let down at the Jahangie”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We have been going to the Jahangir for many years now and always get an amazing meal, lots of choice, well priced and the staff are just brilliant, so attentive, but not over the top. The food just cannot be beaten. The atmosphere is lovely too, can be very romantic on an evening with soft lighting and one of the things the Jahangir is known for (apart from it's fantastic food) is the fish pond that has a clear bridge over that you cross for the tables in the raised level, it's all so very nice. If there are children in the restaurat they can be amuzed for ages watching the fish, not tantrums here!
