“Pre-Theatre meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

The Adam Smith Theatre is 5 mins walk from Pane E Vino, consequently this is a regular stop for a bite to eat before attending productions at the AST. Please note it is well worth subscribing to the Pan E Vino mailing list as there are regular BOGOF offers on certain dinner courses.

Good food, freshly cooked and served by friendly staff, some local and some local of Italian extraction (or they practice their sac cents well).

great for a quick meal and a drink or suitable for a full blown evening of eating and refreshments with a group of friends.

“First class”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

Visit on a Thursday night and found the restaurant busy. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The service was very good. The starters we had were bruschetta and garlic mushrooms both were excellent. My risotto was perfection and the pizza made to order was also well received. We had no dessert but had nice coffee to finish. All that and two non alcohol ice drinks for £30. Would recommend it it anyone .

“Lunch Time Special”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

3 course lunch for under £9, so cant complain, got deep fried mushrooms which was a good size, along with a good pizza for what you are paying, although for a pizza that was meant to be spicy it was lacking chilli for my taste. Coffee or Ice cream for desert. Service was good, and staff v.friendly. Would go again.
