The Garvock is set in it's own gardens and close to the town centre but very quiet. The rooms are large and very well maintained.

The breakfast is excellent with a menu for all tastes. The staff are very efficient, helpful and friendly.

The supper menu is great value and the food is to top quality. I will stay here again.

We visited the Garvock House Hotel for a funeral tea, and were very pleasantly surprised. There is great access for disabled guests and TWO disabled toilets on the ground floor - usually unheard of!!
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very pleasant. We will definitely be back there for a bar lunch.

We love to pop over to Garvock house for lunch or dinner. The food is gorgeous and the service is brilliant, the staff are polite and attentive at all times. Whatever you do, DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING!!! Even if you're stuffed from your delicious starter and main course, find somewhere to put it!
I live in the area so for this reason I cannot comment on their rooms...I would stay here if I had an excuse though! It's very popular for weddings so if that's why you're looking at the reviews trust me it's a great option. Also for those visiting Dunfermline and planning to stay here, it's a quick easy walk into town and an even quicker walk to the train station if you want to pop over to Edinburgh.

Great menu and the food was not only well presented it was delicious.
Staff were first class from the moment we stepped in through the front door. If you enjoy good food in pleasant surroundings then look no further! I'd highly recommend it, oh, very good wine menu and sensible prices too.

One of my favourite restaurants, whilst have not stayed at Hotel, no real point, as I reside 750 metres away, but a regular diner.

Staff, whilst professional, provide a relaxed approach, have a drink in the bar area as you mull over the menu, choice is generally between 4/5 dishes, plus steak option which has a supplement cost, but acceptable.

With two dining-rooms, one small, but bright, the bigger one can cater for parties, the one common factor is service and presentation, which is top class in either room, staff always a step ahead, be it topping up water or wine, to delivery of courses.

After, relex and take your coffee in the lounge or bar area, finishing off with a nice malt whisky, varied selection on offer on gantry.

Ideally situated, 10-15 minutes from city centre, small, yet well maintained gardens, plus large function hall, no wonder it is also a popular wedding location.

One visited, you will return and why not, you are made to feel welcome, quality of food and preparation second to none, but always book in advance, it is that popular... Talked myself into another visit methinks!!
