Despite what must be a challenging weekend for the hotel staff, nothing was too much trouble. We travelled up in a mixed group of friends / teenage kids and they looked after us all. They were only too happy to lend a hand setting up additional beds, give extra towels / tea / coffee / cups etc and book taxis for us. This is a good hotel to escape to after a full day at T in the Park (the shower in our room was excellent)

We stayed at this hotel as we was up in Scotland for the British Superbikes. The hotel was clean and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, yes you could hear traffic noise, but once I was asleep I never heard anything, I will stay at this hotel again

We stayed just one night on the way to the Highlands for our holiday. I chose this one as was marked on their website as Upgraded and it certainly had been. The bed was super comfortable and the shower over the bath was a treat to use. No more trickles! Plenty of room to put things. I do wish that there were more electric sockets though. The gadgets we all travel with nowadays need a charge when we get to our stopping point.

We had travelled up for the weekend to watch motor racing at knockhill circuit. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy, and everything in the room was too, and was working. The bathroom was also clean and tidy. It is situated close to a road, but not so close that the traffic noise is disturbing, and I had a room facing the road. The only difficulty was how to find the hotel, as the only sign we saw for it was at the entrance, so we took a little while to find it, but that is a minor issue, and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

This Travelodge was ideally located for travelling into Edinburgh by bus for the day. It also had supermarket and a place to eat in easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and very helpful? We would definitely stay there again.

We arrived at the travelodge just after 3.00pm on a Friday to a very friendly welcome. The room was large on the 2nd floor and faced the road, totally upgraded and immaculate. This area of the hotel could be noisy if you wished to open the window but at this time of year was not an issue, the complete stay was as expected with no complaints. It was a bit difficult to find and we mixed it up with the Holiday Inn Express but keep your eyes out for signs which take you down to the hotel as you enter the Halbeath area of Dunfermline.

Room Tip: Some rooms face the road so could be noisy if you need to open the window
