Well organised, good facilities, staff polite.
Easy to travel to and parking in close vicinity. Plenty of places to dine within five minutes walk of venue.

this show started poorly and was full of terrible sexual references. the theatre was very restless before the break as the younger audience were losing interest. dame trot had to be the worst character to be on a stage in Scotland. the jokes were lame and stale, the innuendoes were explicit and not for anybody's amusement when children are present. there were mothers nearby who were covering the ears of their kids when this dame trot thing came on. at one point she jumped around with a no entry sign on her bum.this to me is totally unacceptable. the costumes were ok. except the ga ga tits on dame trot at one point.

panto at the alhambra was a good traditional affair, colourful & lively. the cast were a great mix of young & slightly older pros. for me the star was the baddie, Fleshcreep, who was channeling Alan Rickman, was brilliant, played with relish & a big slice of ham. Would recommend this for young & old.

Saw the Mousetrap on its 60th anniversary tour. Theartre was packed. Not a great range of soft drinks or sweets. Bar at the back of the theatre. Seating OK but tight as is usual in theatres. Sound good. We were sitting 2 rows from front to view good. Possibly better overall view from raised seating at back of stalls. Dad saw play in 1953 when it opened so keeping up the family tradition.
