“Indian Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

This is a nice place with lovely food, friendly staff who are very helpful regarding Vegetarian food and they even have Veggie section in their menu. the only drawback is the difficulty of access for anyone in a wheelchair... steep hill to the door and steps into the restaurant. The staff will try to help but its not idea. But this place is a favourite!

“Best Indian in Dunfermline by a very long way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

I've lost count how many times we have eaten here or had a takeway. Its simply the best curry in Dunfermline - not the cheapest for a takeaway but WELL worth it. What I love about their food is you can taste every element of the dish - the tandoori cooked flavour of the tikkas, the fresh ginger, the fresh chilli, the crunch of red and green peppers, just the right bite of onion.. The dishes are full of flavour, never under-spiced, never soggy and greasy like some places. This is food cooked with care, absolute consistency and real expertise, and the portions are really generous too. The restaurant service is always friendly and attentive, nice premises with a warm atmosphere. Love it love it love it.

“Back to what it once was”

Viceroy has now improved considerably since Ashiq returned in second half of 2012. Very clean and fresh looking with wonderful tastes from the varied dishes

“Looks a bit tired and was quite expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Went with work friends and had not been before. The first impression is that the place was tired and in need of a makeover. the toilets weren't clean and would not have been my first choice of restaurant.

In saying that the food was great but was very expensive for the setting and portions. The service was not brilliant and had to keep asking for the drinks and food we had ordered.

There are better places to eat with similar quality food but with better service and lower prices.
