Stayed here for 3 nights with 3 kids aged from 5-13yrs and a dog. The tent was great, very clean and spacious with plenty candles and logs available for the log burner, which was so cosy. Lovely decked area with 2 big comfy chairs where we sat and watched the kids run around the field opposite. bbq and picnic bench also there which was great. Hosts were helpful and on hand for any problems.
We were looking for accommodation for a family of 5 for three nights and were not disappointed by the luxury tents. It combines the excitement of camping with the conveniences required to have a stress-free stay.
A wonderful location, central to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow and very easy to find from the M8. We did all the local sights including the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel and Edinburgh Zoo, all within commuting distance.
The site itself is beautiful, peaceful and has lots of local walking routes. The grass area around the tents is fantastic for the kids too. The tent itself is amazing, beautifully finished and adorned with extra special touches. Equipped with everything you will need (including board games to lure the kids out of a no-wifi depression), the ensuite is clean and accessible and the beds are super comfy. The log burning stove is a lovely finishing touch.
The hosts were welcoming and the whole stay was family-friendly and relaxed.
We can't wait to return! Thank you Carr's Hill!
This is glamping with a difference; the safari tent was absolutely superb . The wood burning stove helped to give heat when needed and the beds comfortable. Having a shower was also great. There's so much space around the tents and this is ideal for the children to play. The short walk to the building to use the freezer and tap into the electricity is also very convenient. Grant is a fabulous host and is on hand whenever needed. The location is also ideal from which to enjoy the wonders of Central Scotland. I have already recommended to others and we look forward to returning in the future!
Our first experience of Glamping, family of 4 with children aged 7 & 9yrs.
Excellent facilities and so private. Lovely to have the dog with us for once. Perfect log burner to keep us warm at night and loved the little touches in the tent. Lucky with the weather, fantastic bike routes nearby to Plean Park and also lovely walk through the woods opposite. Took bikes from Falkirk Wheel to Kelpies along the canal route. Highly recommend if looking for family time , boards games , outdoor activities and no Tv or electronic games!

Wonderful 2 night stay, taking both safari tents as we had 5 children in the party.
The wood burner was the icing on the cake for the adults in the evening. Many thanks to Grant for his care and attention.
