“A breath of fresh air”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

I attended the opening day and have been back since. This is a lovely park that is in it's infancy. Nice walking area and plenty of open spaces. Looking forwards to the cafe opening And I'll be there more often

“Must return when complete”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We were in the Falkirk area attending a wedding at Airth Castle and we were told about the Helix site by one of the guests so we decided to visit the following day. The highlight of the park will no doubt be the sculptures of the Kelties, these are 2 stainless steel plated horses heads standing 30metres high, these very impressive sculptures form the focal point of the park and even now can be seen from miles away. The Helix Park itself when completed will be well worth a visit with a large area of lakes and walks to enjoy with the kids.
Together with the Falkirk Wheel this area is well worth visiting.

“LOVELY PLACE TO WALK”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

This park has been well laid out and is a delight for dog walkers families and cyclists alike. There is a beautiful pond in one area and pools with wild life too. It also runs along the canal with again more wild life and it will eventually go to the new Kelpies which are still under construction. Pity the café was not opened with the park . Still some work to do here but it is well worth a visit

“Work in progress.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Went to the opening day with my daughter who is 8yo. The place was utterly mobbed. Was good in that it gave you a taster of what it will look like when finished. However, much work needs to be done & a return visit next year is in order. Looked promising though.
