We went there for hogmanay because it was remote, and looked cosy which is just what we were looking for, We didn't find it very welcoming, they seemed more interested in there own party and felt as if us being there was a bit of a hinderance, however they were keen to arrange breakfast at whatever time suited us which was quite nice.
The room itself was a little dated but that was fine (though they could at least finish the border so it goes all the way around the room), the shower however could barely wash the soap off your back.
The fried breakfast was brilliant, well if your alergic to sausage, potato scone and haggis/blackpudding non of which were present, which made it hard to justify at a fiver a head.
The one thing we did love though was the surrounding scenery, particularly first thing in the morning, we did enjoy our trip but it could just have been so much better
