Perfect location- right on the Royal Mile so all tourist attractions are right at your doorstep. The flat is large with a very large living room and good sized bedrooms and very nicely furnished. The beds were super comfortable and the flat had all the expected amenities. The owner even left us beer and extensive breakfast makings in the frig (bread, butter, sausages, bacon, juice, milk, coffee) that was much appreciated. The owner is very responsive and responded quickly to all our queries. The building is very quiet and we had a lovely stay. The only thing prospective renters should be aware of is that the flat is on the 4th (American 5th) floor and there is no elevator as is typical in many of these Edinburgh 'tenement' buildings. So yes, you do have to climb those stairs every time and take your bags up. We didn't have a problem with it but might be an issue for those with mobility problems. Would definitely book this again - was perfect for us in all ways.
Very nice, comfortable flat in an awesome location. The stairs were difficult, but the unit itself was great. Walking distance to most everything.
We rented this flat in Edinburgh for 2 nights for a hen wrekend. The flat was in a perfect location close to the train station and central to everything when we were out and about. The flat was really spacious and absolutely spotless. The flat was supplied with everything you would have in your own house. The owner was always quick to reply to any e mails I sent. I would certainly recommend this flat and would stay here again if I came back to Edinburgh
This was a very nice location for a visit to Edinborough. It is right off the Royal Mile, so close to sites, restaurants and shopping. Flat was clean, full of amenities and the host was extremely courteous. Would have rated it a 5, but it is on the 5th floor of the building with no elevator, so you have to climb 5 flights of spiral stairs with all your luggage. Fine if you are fit, but would not recommend to someone with any health issues.
Had a fabulous time in Edinburgh, visiting lots of pubs. Flat was in a great location. Very clean and tidy, everything there that we needed. Frazier was very helper with all the questions I kept emailing him. We visited the lovely Mrs McIntyre cafe across the road.. We pre ordered bacon Sarmiento for our arrival, then had a mini breakfast when we left . Highly recommend
Organised a girlie weekend away (8 of us in total), as soon as we walked in the door we were blown away by how pristine and modern the apartment was- there was even a bottle of bubbly in the fridge which the girls were delighted about!
The first night was very relaxed, we ordered a Chinese from an near by take out. The sofas and beds were very comfortable!
The apartment itself is in the centre of Old Town and is based a scenic walk to the castle. The whole run up to the weekend, Fraser was very helpful when answering any questions about the booking- he even checked to see if we need any advise on what to do and where to go during the day. For anybody that may have mobility problems, the appartment is on the top floor and has some pretty spirally stairs.
All in all, everybody was so happy with the apartment and nobody wanted to leave! Thank you Fraser for your hospitality and your great taste in furniture!
