It was the day before Mother's Day and Edinburgh was dull, dreary and very, very wet.
Mum and I had been treated very rudely elsewhere and walked out.
We walked into Copper Blossom where Maxine and Emily greeted us with smiles and, on hearing our tale, managed to squeeze us in to a busy restaurant without us having to wait at all.
The decor is lovely here, a little whimsical which we like and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and professional.
The food was delicious, I had a pie with the lightest of pastry and we stayed for pudding which we rarely do!
I'm looking forward to returning for our birthdays next month!
