I am a vegetarian and for a special birthday we booked a table because there was a choice of vegetarian starters and main courses, which looked promising. However, my starter tasted only of truffle oil and my main almost exclusively of roasted pepper - roasted pepper stack, roasted pepper sauce, (raw) fennel and red pepper stew. All a bit disappointing for £100. My carnivorous husband ate well - if not spectacularly. The wine was good but not thrilling. Service good.

Excellent lunch - really great choice, quality of food and ine was exceptional - very friendly staff and excellent service. Only downside were the two characters I was forced to dine with!

I have eaten in Wedgwood from the day it opened and can say that it has improved and improved to the point of excellence. Paul Wedgwood has consistently developed the food on offer and I would say it is pretty near perfect. The service is first class. Lunch is probably the best value quality lunch available anywhere and varies from day to day, to the point where it is tempting to eat there everyday. Dinner is first class with little unexpected extras to spice up the overall experience. If you are visiting Edinburgh then a visit to Wedgwood is to be looked forward to.

We visited on Burns Night, and had a great night here. The deciding time had a decidedly burns night feel with an option of whisky rather than champagne too and was a great way to start the meal.
The service was excellent. If a candle went out on a table, it was replaced very quickly. The staff were attentive without you feeling crowded, and there was no sense of being rushed. An enquiry on wine recommendation for the meal had the waitress actually recommend the house white to us, rather than anything more expensive.
The food throughout the night was amazing, with a balance of lovely flavours in just the right amounts.

Great food, nice place, friendly staff. The food is excellent and not at stupid prices for a restaurant of this calibre. Fantastic menu, I had pigeon for a starter and deer for main - cleaned my plate, they were both lovely. Very enjoyable evening out and will definately be returning.
