The tour program itself was ok as it brought us to see most important places in a day.

However, it is very unprofessional of this company to put a big foreign high school student group (at least 28 students+4 teachers) in the same coach and our trip. They were very noisy and delayed the tour program.

Bringing us for Lunch stop was very poor. We all needed to race to buy something to eat from a small convenient store where foods were lack too.Not even a sandwich available. With the whole group of 30+ people, people bought some crisps & snacks and some bananas for lunch. There was not enough time and place to have a little bit proper lunch.

Thank you for the wonderful experiences in a day to the trip to Highlands. I have been to this trip many a times in 3 years with various travel tour providers, but this time it's one of the kind. The guide who travelled with has almost 35 years of experience as a travel guide and he has covered all the aspects of the historical journals related to the places we have been through. I strongly recommend all the trips provided by Scotline Tours for the quality of service and best in the industry!

How can you give an excellent for a cancelled tour?? We left Edinburgh on the day of the worst storms for 60 years. We were warned that we may need to return early and that was ok. After two hours excessive winds, rain, sleet, fallen trees, blocked roads, power outages at the first stop the driver based on phone calls and weather information took the safe option to return with the option to try again the next day. Safety first. Good call

We took the Lochness tour and it was worth it. Although it was a one day tour, we were far more than happy that we managed to visit a lot of places, with a comfortable bus and a great tour leader(Fred).

We took the Highlands/Loch Ness day trip. The Scottish highlands didn't fail to disappoint, amazing scenery with the autumn colours. The bus was very comfortable and modern but just a few points worth mentioning. The trip is advertised as having an "optional extra" of the castle and boat trip at Loch Ness. As my wife and I were on a budget we were happy to not pay for the added 17.50 pounds. Once we were on the bus, our driver (Fred) put the hard sell on everyone and basically said that you'd be sitting in a hotel cafe for 2 hours if you didn't want to pay for the castle tour and boat trip, and that you had to do both. There is no reason why they couldn't offer the castle visit (7.50 pounds) and then bus people to meet the boat trip. The boat trip was not worth the extra money. I think the company should revisit this approach. Also, the 45 min stop at a tourist shop/restaurant/roadhouse when we're only 1 hour from Edinburgh was another way to upsell customers at their affiliated tourist traps.
