just wanted to share our experience on the gray line tour we went on this week - we were staying for 3 nights in edinburgh but wanted a taste of more of scotland - we decided on the 12 hour day trip to loch ness and the highlands thorugh gray line which was booked for us by doreen who ran the guesthouse where we stayed - star villa - we got picked up bang on time at 7.45am from the star villa - the coach was clean and spacious with a toilet on board - our driver and guide for the day was graham (aka gray line graham !!!) he was welcoming from the off and enthusiastic throughout the day - there were plenty of photo stops and comfort breaks - along with musical interludes - we did the optional boat trip on loch ness - truely remarkable sights in the highlands and as far north as inverness returning back down through pitlochry to edinburgh around 8pm - where graham went out of his way to drop us all back in our relevant areas where we were staying - we can honestly say that we were a little unsure whether this trip would be for us but it turned out to be the best trip we have ever been on and would recommend to others if you want to see scotland in comfort and are limited to time - excellent value at £41 per head - thanks to graham for an amazing day who even passed the inverness football ground especially for my husband - well done

Spent a whole day on this tour leaving from Edinburgh...from the outset our driver (Paul) was welcoming and attentive...his knowledge and passion for Scotland were evident in his confident delivery....mixed with a little humour.....we all felt safe and at ease with his driving......glen turret distillery is a must for whiskey lovers and I would highly recommend the haggis and whiskey sauce for lunch.....Dunkeld is a pretty little town that is definitely worth a visit although we were blessed with the most glorious weather and the river walk was stunning....

Very Good driver. Excellent Knowledge in History and Little Stories. Really enjoyed the Tour. Was doing the Highlands Tour. Takes about 12 hours. But enough Brakes Form Sitting in the bus. And Driving Time goes by quickly with all interesting Stories und facts being told. Do not Expect too much from Loch Ness. But the Landscape is breathtaking.

This was our first trip to Scotland. Most guide books say "two days for Edinburgh" but we knew they were wrong. We spent five days and four nights. The 13-hour Highlands tour offered by Gray Line in Edinburgh should be required, especially for a first-time visitors in Scotland.

We had Brian: crusty, firm, opinionated, passionate, and highly informative.

Also, Gray Line arranges pick-up and then drops everyone off at or near their hotel at the end of the VERY long, enjoyable day.
