Enjoyed a great meal here while visiting Edinburgh for a brief break. I've eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food was good. I had a haggis (which needed a little more seasoning), neeps (which were very creamy), and tatties, and my wife had a Greek salad. For desert we had chocolate Brownies and cream (which were especially yummy). The atmosphere is great and the service is first-class.

We came here for drinks and a bite to eat straight from arriving on Friday. It is quite a basic place with a limited food menu: baguettes and sandwiches, small plates like chilli con carne or jacket potatoes was about it. No chips though which we thought was strange. The beer was fine and service was good. I think we went back the following day for lunch too now I'm thinking about it. That's right, they had the rugby on! And it was right opposite our hotel.

Just back from visit to Edinburgh and first pub we went to was 'The Last Drop' absolutely excellent. The manager was very welcoming and following day met his wife. Didn't get their names unfortunately but they were so nice and talkative. Told us a few stories about Edinburgh and also 'Marie' their friendly ghost. Def be going back to visit. From Aberdeen

I frequented this little pub several times and was never disappointed. The service staff were really on top of things. Good food and what an atmosphere! Everyone should go here for "the last drop"!
