We were gifted a 2 night beak at the Ben Cruachan guest house for our wedding anniversary. What a lovely present it turned out to be.
Great location 15min from centre princess street etc.
Parking on nearby street £5 a day.
Lovely guest house, 5 bedrooms, clean tidy and nicely furnished. Breakfast excellent. Jackie the owner is the perfect host.

Had a lovely few days in Edinburgh & Leith, this was the perfect setting, just away from the madding crowds and close enough to the main road for buses. (1 minute away).
The area & the B & B was very peaceful and quiet.
We had room 5 on ground floor level overlooking the garden which was very nice and peaceful. Jackie was a fabulous host with fantastic choice of breakfasts and would not hesitate to book again.
Very enjoyable stay - furnished to very high standard. Jackie is a great host who makes you feel very welcome. Location a bit out of the city centre but reasonably-priced street parking nearby. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Room 1 small but well furnished, and fine for short stay.
Bathroom good with double shower but radiator a bit too close to the WC for somebody with long legs !
My wife and i visited Edinburgh for the weekend and stayed in the Ben Cruachan guest house , we couldn't fault anything about this lovely guest house and lovely host jackie who couldn't do enough for us , the breakfast was really nice and a good variety to choose from even a malt whiskey on your porridge for starters if you want it , our room was to a good standard and spotless , would thoroughly recommend the Ben Cruachan and will definitely use again when we return

This review is long overdue, stayed at this wonderful guest house for our wedding anniversary last year for a weekend in Edinburgh and found it most comfortable and in a great part of the city for exploring via foot or tram. Jackie is a great host, lovely breakfast each morning and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Jackie when we got the chance to chat one morning over breakfast.
Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
