“My new favourite restaurant”
Reviewed July 12, 2013 via mobile

I've managed restaurants for 20 years and therefore rarely enjoy a meal as can't stop criticizing. Lovely relaxed but attentive service even when very busy. The best garlic bread with balsamic and red onion I've ever had and great antipasto platter for main. Pass this place every day and will now be my regular place to chill and enjoy great good.

“Zizzi”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Four of us dropped in after the Edinburgh Marathon, May 2013, and were accommodated immediately.
I am not a pasta person at all, so asked for the spaghetti bolognaise without the spaghetti. This was served with not so much as a batted eyelid..well done.
Excellent service, and very good food. Highly recommend a visit...especially if you are a pasta eata..!

“Superb”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

They fitted us in, even though they were really busy, maybe seeing the desperation in our eyes for much needed carbs before our marathon the next day! Superb food, great service, lovely place. Thoroughly recommend. (Esp the pesto and tomato bread starter, yum!)
