Visited as a party of 5 on Friday night and was very impressed . The staff were friendly and fun and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced . We had a set meal and my only criticism would be that the portions were too large and we couldn't eat everything but the staff kindly packed up the leftovers for us . Couldn't criticise at all for service, price or quality of food .

Thank zebra60

The staff was excellent, attentive and very accommodating. Crispy duck and lemon chicken would have fed six so moderate your orders unless you want to have a BIG DOGGY BAG.

Went with my mother as she used to go here in 80s and raved about usually when in Edinburgh I attend the same Chinese,

arrived and we were seated promptly staff were very friendly and quick ordered food and drinks!

chicken satay starter was deep fried and very chewy on outside, not pan fried but but in an actual fryer, managed 2 bites.

was hoping that the mains may redeem this place but my shredded chicken came and it was disgusting, no taste as such and the meat was poor quality and chewy/stringy I managed 3 pieces before asking for bill which when it arrived despite the fact nothing had been eaten was full price after telling staff our issues!

in future I will stick with the places I know

We arrived at 7.30/8pm was busy but not full, asked for a table for two and had to wait almost 20 minutes while the staff served and the take away orders were turned out, where we STOOD we could see atleast 4 empty tables but we still had to wait, the waitress was quite matter of fact!
waited quite a while for our food and drinks , the waitress then asked if we wanted to use the chopsticks, we were undecided but she promptly took them away, surely we should decide if we want to use them or not as we are paying!
food was nice when it eventually arrived but a tad cold.

Won't be recommending it to anyone in a hurry

Went there with daughter and wife for wife's birthday. Got shown downstairs into basement, probably because we hasn't booked. Ordered set menu for three. Bland chicken and sweet corn soup. No dipping sauces with other bland starters. Pork rolls in cabbage; none of us liked them, very reesty. Reasonable main courses; all but one finished.
