Enjoyed our stay, rooms were spacious and modern with plenty of hot water, great shower, handy location with bus at door yet still quiet in our rooms. Restaurant food was very good and would highly recommend eating in. Hospitality and service very good from Ted and Dot

Great hotel run by Ted and Dot whose friendly approach added to the enjoyable experience. It was a terrific location for me as I was attending a course at the Edinburgh Infirmary Hospital which was only a 5 min walk. If you're looking to head into the city centre then there's a bus stop only a stones throw away. The rooms are lovely, breakfast was great and the dinner was delicious. I would highly recommend Aaron Lodge to anyone.

Aaron Lodge Hotel gives real meaning to "family run" and "warm welcome". Dining in the atmospheric (especially after dark) beautifully furnished conservatory restaurant is a very
pleasant, relaxing experience with excellent service and superb food.
Very definite compliments to the chef.
The cozy bar makes an evening drink very convivial.
Car parking is free but on busy nights is a bit tight. If any difficulty arises, the proprietor is very quick to help. For the best of welcomes, phone ahead to 0131 664 2755.
There is a bus stop to the town centre within 25 yards and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary (should you need it) is 7 minutes walk away. Craigmillar Castle (a must-see for castle enthusiasts)
is 10 minutes away.
As our home is about 2 miles away, we have not experienced the accommodation, but other
reviewers suggest that the restaurant standard is continued throughout

Very warm welcome from owners Ted & Dot, they could not have done any more to make our stay very enjoyable, their attention to detail and friendly approach was very refreshing. very good choice of menu for both breakfast and evening meal (if required). Excellent bus service from very close by bus stop into Edinburgh. Overall, a 5 star location and facilities.
