“Great one day Scottish highlands to loch lomand and Loch Ness”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Excellent! Can't recommend enough. Mini bus and driver made the epic trip comfortable with plenty of stops for pictures and the chance to get a real feel for the highlands. Can't wait to book again for one of the longer tours. Excellent valve for money.

“Highland Lochs, Glens and Whisky Tour”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This tour was great, especially due to our guide Pete. He is funny, smart, gregarious and charming and he made the day fantastic. The Highlands are beautiful and driving through them was a treat. We got to stop at a couple of picturesque towns and viewpoints, walked to a gorgeous waterfall in the Hermitage Pleasure Ground, and visited two whisky distilleries. The small group format was nice, the walking was not too strenuous, and the sites were well chosen. I will definitely use Rabbie again and would recommend them to anyone traveling to Scotland.

“Spectacular Tour through the Highlands”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

Took the one day tour through the Highlands and to Loch Ness - was simply breath taking! Got lucky, it snowed the day we went. Booked online with Viator for a small group tour and they book us with Rabbies Trail Burners. Got and awesome tour guide, Mike. He was fantastic. He was a movie and music buff, so I appreciated all his references and they were historical yet currently fascinating. Talked about all the movies...BraveHeart, Harry Potter and even showed us where the song Stair Way to Heaven was written. Played awesome Scottish music all along the way. He let us stop at a few places that they don't normally stop (castle ruins and a few other photo ops) and he even let me stop to play in the snow! If you only had one day and one thing to do in Scotland - the Highlands are a must see. Very beautiful, very spiritual place! Would highly recommend!!!! Jennifer - Lafayette, Louisiana

“5 stars for good reason!”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

We booked a day long highlands tour with Rabbies because of all the positive reviews and were so glad we did. Michael, our guide, was very nice and knew every inch of ground over which we passed. He even had keys to two castles that no other tours had access to!!!

“Castles, the Highlands and Loch Ness”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

One of the highlights of our first trip to Scotland has to be the two Rabbie’s day tours we took. We really enjoyed the smaller groups and the 16 passenger buses were very comfortable and easy to navigate. I sometimes need a cane for to help with balance issues and I had no issues entering and exiting the bus.

The Rabbie’s guides/drivers are well versed in Scottish history and the local lore. On our tour of the castles and border country, our guide Mike never skipped a beat when one of our major castle stops was closed to the public due a death in the family. He easily switched to plan B and took us to a castle on the sea using the short drive there to fill us in on the castle’s history.

On the way home, Mike told stories and took questions. Even though this was a tour or the border country, Mike was able to talk at length about the Highland Clearances when I asked about them.

Our Highland tour with Neal was equally enjoyable. There were many stops along the way with opportunities to hike a bit along the shores of Loch Ness (or you could cruise the Loch if you wanted), scale a small hill to view a hidden rapids and water fall or just soak in the unbelievable beauty of the Highlands. Along the way, we were entertained with stories of the great clan rivalries or the intrigue surrounding Scotland’s Queen Mary.
