Stayed at Pillars for 2 nights in early September 2011. Had great food and breakfast conversations with Italians, Germans and Aussies. Edna and Mark were fun and put on a big spread with lots of options including haggis. Don't pass on the haggis as this was the only B&B in Scotland we were offered it. The room safe, fridge, and off street parking were all bonuses. The short walk to the Compas for a pint and dinner was a good choice.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Pillars house was originally built and owned by Crawford which were offices and a spirit store in the late 18th century.
