I recently took my parents for a once in a lifetime trip to Scotland. Pilars House was our fourth stop and definitely our best. Edna, Mark and the rest of the hosts bent over backward to help us. Edna even switched rooms to accommodate my disabled father. The rooms were large, spacious, well appointed and clean. Breakfast at Pilars House was always hilarious as we exchanged stories with our hosts and fellow guests. We had an authentic Scottish experience, close to central Edinburgh at a reasonable price. We definitely recommend it.
