Arriving early for our check in we were allowed to leave our luggage and were told we would be given a phone call when the room was ready (which they did).
We were booked into the Moscow room for three nights. On first impression the room is very nice, seemed clean and stylish. There were a few issues, the mirrorred light did not work, the bedside tables were worn and scratched, one bedside lamp did not always work. The room was clean but seemed a little tired and run down, as if it all needed a re-paint and touch up.
When we checked in we were given a welcome pack (it was a letter) with some information about the stay. However in the room there is no information on breakfast times, check out times or anything that would normally help you with your stay.
We went down to the bar to get our free rum based drunk, nice touch but would be better to just offer any drink for free. The bar area is very glam and the staff are friendly. The money seems to be spent in this area as this is all very clean with a lot of staff meandering about.
We had a good nights sleep and were not affected by any noise from the club, the bed was comfy and the rainfall shower over the bath was lovely. A nice range of toiletries were provided.
We went down for breakfast (hoping that we had not missed out as we did not know what time they were serving residents until). The staff were good but I do think that a seperate menu should be provided for residents as it is quite unclear what you can have as all the prices are stated as if you are a customer from off the street. The food was nicely cooked.
All in all a comfortable stay but not worth the money. If you want more comfort and attention to detail stay at Tigerlilly. Style over substance at Le Monde.
