We usually call in Deacon Brodies when in Edinburgh, alright its a chain, but it feels scottish,
Had a couple of drinks and a meal tonight, the place was busy but got served quickly, very friendly staff. They warned us it nay take 30 minutes for serving food, but agreed this was ok as we could then manage an extra round of drinks.
I had gammon and eggs, which was excellent my wife had the chicken and mushroom pie, again no complaints.
Overall an excellent meal for a city centre pub.
