We stayed at the B&B for 2 nights whilst in Edinburgh for my friends wedding.

The accomodation is excellent, breakfast was delicious and Carolyn and her husband were really nice.

We would highly recommed this B&B to anyone visiting Edinburgh

We are getting married in October 2007 near to Aaron Glen and our wedding venue recommended this B&B. During our first stay, there were 5 of us and during our 2nd stay there were 4 of us - not one of us can find fault with Aaron Glen Guesthouse.

Carolyn and her husband Les are extremely friendly and welcoming - even on our first visit when 5 tired, grumpy people arrived on their doorstep at 6pm (airline lost our bags, we weren’t happy!).

The accommodation is 5 star - it really is. The rooms are decorated to a really high standard with a modern, contemporary finish - very comfy beds & bedding; excellent bathroom, flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, even HEAT magazine!

The breakfast is great; either a full Scottish or maybe Scrambled Eggs & Smoked Salmon, or Eggs Benedict? There is also fresh fruit, juices, smoothies, yoghurts, cheese etc. and not just any old food, Sainsburys taste the difference I might add!!!

We have already been back a second time (first visit Sep 06, second visit Mar 07) and will be visiting again in Jul 07 to finalise wedding plans.

We have also already booked the entire B&B for some of our friends / family to stay at during the wedding and my fiance, Mum, Dad and I will be staying at the Aaron Glen Apartment (1 of 2) for a week before we get married.

I can not recommend this B&B enough - its fantastic!!!

Thanks for everything Carolyn & Les!

i stayed here due to a business trip and found my stay to be thoroughly enjoyable. the decor throughout is to a super standard and modern taste, and the fresh flowers were a nice touch. the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely every morning. the hosts were superb, very friendly and certainly make you feel welcome. nearby is the rosslyn chapel and country park which makes for a lovely walk. the city is about a 15 minute drive away although parking in the city is few and far between. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at aaron glen and would stay here without hesitation in the future, be it work or pleasure. the self catering holiday cottages are also superb and look forward to staying in them in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Aaron Glen for 2 nights in September. The room was very clean and modern, yet warm. The breakfast was outstanding as well. The only drawback is that it is 6 miles from the city center, which is not a problem if you drive into the city. If you want to take the bus in there is a stop right by the guest house, but it takes about half an hour to get there. It is, however, a quick 5 minute drive to see the Rosslyn Chapel, which was one of my favourite things we saw throughout our trip in Britain. But the best thing about this already excellent guest house, is the hosts. They are incredibly warm and great for a chat when you're starting your day. I would definitely stay again!
