I stayed at this Premier Inn while on a business visit to Edinburgh. I got the train through to Newcraighall and the hotel is just opposite the station so no need to get a taxi. It's away from the City Centre but is very handy for the A1 so easy access by car and there are frequent trains and buses into Edinburgh. Friendly chatty reception staff in hotel and in the attached pub / restaurant where I had breakfast ................. and the absolute winner was the honesty of a member of the house-keeping staff.
I was in a rush in the morning and managed to leave behind £25 in an envelope with my name on it. 2 hours later I received a call from my office saying that the hotel had been in touch as a member of house-keeping had found my enveIop and that it was now in their safe awaiting collection. I wouldn't have even known it was missing until I was home 60 miles away. Now that's what I call service and I rewarded it accordingly.More
