This is a testing course for an amateur and what I consider one of the best of the Council run courses in Edinburgh. The views across to Fife are awesome should you play on a sunny day. Prices are about GBP20 for 18 holes and visitors are made welcome. As a previous contributor has already said the 600 yard 18th hole is possibly the longest in Scotland.
This is however a public course and you have to endure the problems that come with that. Previous damage to one of the greens was aparent on my visit and the public have a right of way on the course.
