I booked for 3 of us who were travelling up from London for a wedding in Edinburgh and wanted to stay a few days but not in a hotel. This apartment is a great alternative - especially at nearly half the price of what a hotel would have cost.
John messaged us before we arrived so that he could be in to hand over keys and he was very welcoming and helpful.
The apartment had 3 nice large bedrooms and sitting room. The kitchen was just right for a few days and everything was super clean! Was nice to see dish towel, washing up liquid and cleaning supplies.
Would recommend - if you don't mind climbing the stairs, and we would stay again
The location was excellent as we used local buses and the car was safe in the parking area. John was welcoming and the apartment was clean and comfortable.
The appsrtment was good, although the heating/water system was noisy! There are three good sized bedrooms, the kitchen has full utilities, but could do with a refresh. The appartmdnt is in a good location, but not really central, as is a good 20 minute walk to most venues.
We used the flat as a base for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival. We had everything we needed all in a good location for buses to town and to Leith and onwards towards Edinburgh parkrun! A big Tescos is within easy walk for all your supplies - we ate in more than out.
6 of us made the trip from south Wales by car to watch the six nations international rugby match between wales and Scotland.
We met John at the property and he was very informative as to where everything we would need was located. There is a large tesco store at the bottom end of easter road, and lots of bars pubs and restaurants too.
Edinburgh is an outstanding city and I would definitely return.
I can't recommend this property enough to people!
