Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is directly opposite to the Playhouse and OMNI centre so really well placed for getting around.
We stayed in the Loch Lomond room which is massive. A nice large shower room with walk in rain shower. The room overlooks the road and even though we kept our window open road noise was not a problem . The room itself also boasted a decent TV, Fridge and Sky Tv.
We found on the last night the Bierkeller which is downstairs - a really nice sports bar serving good ales and decent value pub grub. You get 10 per cent discount if you stay at the hotel.
The only word of caution is the hotel has no lift so bear in mind that the upper floors have a significant number of stairs to climb in this typical Victorian House. The staff though will get your bags and take them to the room .
Staff are excellent and friendly too.
A tip for breakfast is to try a Taste of Italy just down from the Playhouse . More
